The implied beliefs of atheism

[AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hat tip to TC and Emily for serving as inspiration for this article.] Atheists typically don't like organized religion, and many will seize just about any excuse to attack the beliefs of theists. Only yesterday a friend of mine posted a political comment on social media that mentioned abortion, yet somehow an atheist lurking in the shadows managed to bring religion into the conversation by claiming the Bible doesn't condemn abortion. In my response I pointed out that Scripture doesn't mention nuclear war or space travel either, because those things also didn't exist when the Bible was written. Elective surgery by a medical doctor to kill an unborn child in the womb wasn't simply available when Jesus walked the Earth. 13 weeks into pregnancy His argument was weak, but my new atheist acquaintance was just getting warmed up. Next this particular religion critic boldly claimed the Bible was a work of fiction, which is an odd statement for an atheist to make. Most of my atheist friends realize the best strategy is to remain on offense and attack religion while carefully avoiding any knowledge claims they might have to defend. For example, most atheists will say something safe like "I believe the Bible is fiction" instead of "the Bible is fiction" because the former is merely stating an opinion, but the latter is a knowledge claim that will ultimately need to be defended with empirical evidence. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, but not their own independent set of facts. And the fact of the matter is, the claim the Bible is a work of fiction … [Read more...]

Nathan Phillips, publicity whore

Nathan Phillips If you're just waking up from a deep coma, you might not have heard of Nathan Phillips or Covington Catholic High School. You're definitely in the minority, because pretty much everybody else with access to a television knows who they are. If you've only listened to Hollyweird liberals and the mainstream media, you may not even be aware of the role the Black Hebrew Israelites played in the controversial encounter. Naturally, the media portrayed a group of teens attending a March for Life (anti-abortion) rally as a mob of racist, Trump-supporting white hoodlums surrounding and taunting a poor Native American simply trying to lead a prayer vigil because it so conveniently fit their narrative, which is to depict Trump supporters (and especially pro-life demonstrators) as a bunch of intolerant Neanderthals with the stated goal of taking away a woman's right to choose to abort her child, and often for the sake of convenience. Fortunately for the kids from Covington Catholic, other people who weren't trying to deliberately false narrative about what really happened were also at the Lincoln Memorial and had their cameras. The real story was a far cry from the original narrative peddled to the media by Mr. Phillips. The students from Covington had gathered at the Lincoln Memorial as instructed by their chaperones in advance of their return trip home when a small, militant group of black men calling themselves Black Hebrew Israelites approached them and began shouting racist and homophobic epithets at the teenagers. At that point the only offense committed … [Read more...]

The sigil of Baphomet

You probably won't recognize his name, but in late September Jordan Hunt was the man caught on video kicking a woman while she peacefully protested against abortion. If you haven't seen the clip already, I've embedded it below for your convenience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkrNVol0UAo If you just watched the video, I hope you noticed how Hunt prepared himself to strike that the 34 second mark, but didn't actually deliver the blow until two full seconds later. He took his time and telegraphed what he was doing. Hunt immediately claimed it was an accident and that he only meant to kick the phone from her hand, but it's difficult to give this repeat offender the benefit of the doubt. You see, this wasn't the first time Hunt physically assaulted an abortion protestor. One month earlier he had been identified on another video as the man aggressively charging into the street to attack a different female abortion protester over a sign she was holding. Hunt has been arrested by Toronto police and charged with eight counts of assault. He'll have his day in court. However, I don't want to talk about the assaults or the motivation for them (abortion) at the moment. I want everyone to look at the necklace Hunt is wearing in the video. It's a pentagram. Coincidentally, the official symbol of the Church of Satan is an inverted five-point star called the sigil of Baphomet, as shown below. The sigil also adorns the cover of The Satanic Bible. It's a very important symbol to Satanism. Granted, Hunt may not even realize what he's wearing. The camera never gets … [Read more...]

The liberal blood sacrament of abortion

Do they really think we're this stupid? Well, yeah. Obviously. And I always get offended when stupid people assume that we're even dumber than they are. Which is smarter, an elected Democrat politician or a CNN reporter? No matter what you guessed you were wrong, because it was a trick question...a brick is smarter than either one. This isn't about sex. It isn't about rape, attempted rape, and has absolutely nothing to do with Christine Ford's accusations. It's really about abortion. Specifically, it's about stopping Judge Kavanaugh from being seated on the Supreme Court in order to preserve this liberal blood sacrament. Senator Robert Menendez admits the real motivation in the organized opposition to Judge Kavanaugh is to protect Roe v. Wade in the clip below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=385&v=M02erKVxPVw No offense, but if you really think the desperate last-second attack on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh has anything at all to do with accusations of sexual abuse as a teenager, you're a useful idiot as far as the Democratic Party is concerned. If you are offended, get over it. Learn to use the brain God gave you, and think. Since when has a Democrat ever cared about sexual improprieties? We're talking about the political party of Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton, for God's sake! They only care when they can accuse a Republican of sexual improprieties, and the sort of deviant behavior that comes naturally to a Democrat. The Democratic Party reportedly doesn't care about (documented) very serious allegations … [Read more...]
